Rules
1) Competition entrants must be at least 21 years of age.
2) Competition entrants must hold or have gained a current CBT certifcate, before entering the on-line competition. The competition entry deadline is 31st March 2008.
3) Competition entrants must enter all eliminating stages of contest by first completing the on-line questionnaire and tie-breaker question.
4) Competition entrants must complete both the written and practical riding tests as called for by the competition schedule and only on the days and times prescribed.
5) Competition entrants must comply with the safety laws and course regulations if invited to be involved with final track stage at Knockhill Race Circuit.
6) Competition entrants must act in a responsible and safe manner at all times within the John Clark Tayside premises and all other competition areas.
7) Competition entrants must adhere to minimum safety requirements as prescribed by officials of the competition. The organisers reserve the right to exclude any such participant not willing to adhere to such standards.
8) Practical riding tests will only be carried out on machines provided by the organisers. In the interests of fair comparision, the use of the individual's machine will not be permitted. Insurance will be covered by GMTS for all entrants whilst participating in practical asssessments.
9) The winners of the two Direct Access packages will be afforded one full training package per individual, to include full tuition and the test itself. Any re-tests or additional tuition will be the responsibilty of the winners, and out with the scope of the prize. The organisers reserve the right to withold the delivery of the motorcycle until the winner has attained Direct Access standard.
Regulations
1) The "Prizes " are as described in the contest material and are not eligible to be exchanged for cash.
2) All staff of John Clark Motor Group, D.C. Thomson and GMTS are ineligible for contest entry.
3) The organisers will appoint an independent panel of judges, whose decision on all matters relating to the competition will be final. All entrants will be bound by such decisions, including the discretion applied to the tie-breaker question.
4) No discussion will be entered into by John Clark or it's associates, regarding results during or after the contest has closed.
5) While every effort will be made to adhere to the contest timings and activity schedules, should delay or postponement be required for any reason, the "organisers" will not be held liable for any cost or inconvenience incurred by entrants.
6) Participants in the competition must allow the use of their details regarding the promotion of the event and be willing to participate in other promotional events, including the presentation of any prizes and relevant photocalls Such details will not be disclosed in a fashion other than that connected with the event itself, but may be retained for marketing purposes by the sponsors of the competition.
7) The overall winner will receive a 2007 BMW G650X Moto. This prize does not include any additional items such as rider equipment, etc. All other associated costs will be the responsibilty of the winner.
