A true style icon...

The Audi TT has been a 'What Car?' winner for nearly as many years as it has been on the road and now across three generations of this iconic Coupe.

This year has seen the Audi TT secure it's forth successive Best Coupe Award in it's current form. To date the Audi TT has amassed a staggering 16 Best Coupe trophies courtesy of 'What Car' since 1999. No mean feat in this day and age.

The focus this year was on the latest Audi TT 1.8 TFSI engine version and the testers praised the car for it's 'sweet, peppy engine which offers lively acceleration and that truly special driving experience'.

The TT interior was also praised for it's 'lashings of style and classy interior' along with it's robust-feeling, 12.3 inch virtual cockpit and exemplary build standard throughout.

Commenting on the Award Director of Audi UK Andrew Doyle said "to secure a win in a core category where standard are very high and constantly rising is a huge achievement. For the Audi TT to hold it's ground in this hard fort category is something to be particularly proud of".

This year's 'What Car?' awards also saw Audi walk away with recognition for the Audi A4 Saloon in the Best Executive Car category and the Audi Q7 retaining the Best Luxury SUV accolade. Honourable mentions were given to a further eight models in the Audi Range.
