Exterior
A new progressive grille with distinct air intakes on the front bumper and a new design for the LED Headlights all sharpen the front end of The New Audi A8. The rear lights feature a new futuristic OLED look, with dynamic sequencing for various functions. The new model has 3 trims. The Sport comes with a generous specification, while the S-Line adds even more, plus a range of sporty styling touches. The Black Edition Trim adds even more features on top of this and a black exterior trim pack.
Interior
The interior of The A8 offers pure decadence, with high quality materials throughout the spacious cabin. Both the driver and front passenger seat come with a memory function and pneumatic adjustment for maximum comfort. Rear seat passengers can also travel in style thanks to comfort seats in valcona leather and electrically powered sunshade blinds as standard. A panoramic glass roof, acoustic double glazing and privacy glass are available as additional options to enhance the experience.
Technology
The New Audi A8 is loaded with new technology and driver assistance systems, with adaptive cruise control and adaptive cruise assist, the rear view camera, head up display and wireless smartphone charging all standard. Digital Matrix LED Headlights are included from the S-Line trim, giving you more precise illumination of the road thanks to higher resolution. The Comfort & Sound Pack adds the Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System, multi-coloured ambient lighting and remote park plus.
Engine Variants
The Audi A8 offers both a diesel engine and petrol, plus a plug in hybrid variant. The 50TDI quattro produces 286PS and 600Nm of toque, delivered by quattro all wheel drive for a smooth yet swift performance in the diesel models. The petrol 55TFSI quattro also offers an excellent performance, generating 340PS and 500Nm of torque. Available as an option for The Audi A8 is dynamic all wheel steering for increased steering precision and agility. A sport differential is also among the optional extras.
The New Audi A8L
The Long Wheelbase is 13cm longer than the standard model, providing even more space for passengers in the rear seats. The relaxation seat offers an incredible massage function, which consists of 18 pneumatic cushions in the seat, but also a footrest which allows for heating and massaging for your feet.
Audi A8 60 TFSI e
Now available as a plug in hybrid, the A8 60 TFSI e is where luxury meets efficiency, with the 3.0 litre V6 engine being assisted by an electric motor, together producing 462PS. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds, while EV mode means you can drive up to 37 miles using only electricity on a single charge.
