The 'Named Component' warranty covers specific parts, whilst 'Comprehensive' cover offers blanket protection for a wide range of parts, be they electrical, mechanical or bodywork. Comprehensive cover also offers flexibility by enabling you to decide on your own excess level. These warranties allow you financial peace of mind in case of future repairs or services, by lowering the costs significantly.
Another flexible aspect of these warranties is that they can easily be transferred to the next owner if you decide to sell your car before the warranty expires on them. You can choose your standard new car warranty for three, four or five years, but your initial three-year/60,000-mile warranty is provided free of charge. Extended competitively-priced options are payable monthly or annually. Approved Used cars come with a 12-month warranty and MINI Roadside Assistance as standard.
Having services or repair work carried out on your vehicle at a centre not approved by MINI could have many repercussions, including your warranty becoming invalidated.
