All Volkswagen Approved Used Cars come with an Approved Warranty, so whatever your budget, you can relax in the knowledge there’s always a cover to suit you.

According to the age and mileage of your car, the warranty will have one of the following levels of cover :

• All Component Warranty.
  For cars up to 3 years and 100,000 miles
• Volkswagen Approved Warranty.
  For cars over 3 years of age and under 100,000 miles.

All component warranty
This warranty is for cars up to 3 years and 100,000 miles
It guards against most of the factory-fitted mechanical or electrical components of your car.

There are some exclusions which are:

• Routine service items
• Bodywork, glass and seals
• Wear and perishable items as follows:
  • All adjustments, timing or cleaning
  • Batteries
  • Bulbs and fuses
  • Exhaust systems (although catalytic converters are covered)
  • Interior and exterior trims
  • Non-genuine manufacturer’s parts
  • Tyres and wheels
  • Un-encased drive belts
  • Wiper blades and arms
  • Wiring and connections (including HT leads and aerial co-axial cables)
  • Worn brake discs, drum and frictional material
  • Worn clutch pressure plates, bearings and frictional material
  • Coolant hoses

Extended Cover
To further protect your investment, you may want to purchase and extended warranty, in addition to the one provided by your Volkswagen Retailer at the time of your Approved Used Car purchase.

The extent of this cover depends on the age and mileage of your car - but it provides a minimum ‘named component’ cover to ensure your car is protected against the cost of parts and repair in these areas:
