Business Commits to Maggie's

Specialist Cars Aberdeen and Fife has announced a series of fundraising initiatives in support of a leading cancer charity.
Volkswagen car retailer, Specialist Cars in Aberdeen, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline, has organised charity box collections, dress-down days and a sponsored bungee jump to raise funds for their local Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre in Fife. Customers will also be able to donate £1 to Maggie's via their Service invoices within the next couple of weeks.
Specialist Cars, which is part of the John Clark Motor Group, launched a fundraising partnership with the Monty’s Maggie’s Appeal earlier this year. The Appeal is jointly run by the Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation, a charity set-up by Colin Montgomerie.
Cheryl Turner, who works at Specialist Cars Fife, said: “We’re delighted to announce our long-term support for the Maggie’s Appeal and would like to thank our customers for their enthusiastic response to this initiative.
“We have a series of fundraising events, including a sponsored bungee jump, planned over the next couple of months which will hopefully raise some useful funds for our local centre in Fife.”
With professional counselling and support teams, Maggie’s centres aim to empower cancer patients and their families throughout the diagnosis, treatment, post-treatment and bereavement processes.
