Product Experience 2011 was the biggest launch training event ever undertaken by Volkswagen, and the first delivered in conjunction with their colleagues from Wolfsburg.
 

The scale reflected just how important up! and the Beetle are to the future of Volkswagen, which was why both sales and aftersales staff were invited from the UK.

Over two days based at a resort near Alicante, Spain, delegates from retailers throught the UK including Specialist Cars, were given the chance to drive up!, test its laser-based emergency braking system and compare the car to competitors. They also got up close to the 21st Century Beetle and found out how Volkswagen plans to make it a success.

Mark Cox, Business Improvement Manager, said of Product Experience 2011: “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. It has been really motivational but most importantly everyone is really fired up about our Brand, our two fantastic new models and how we can all bring them alive for our customers.” 

We asked a few delegates for their reactions to Product Experience 2011, and from what we can gather, everyone is really excited about the launch of these exciting new models.
