Travel Expert Solves Family Motoring Dilemmas
Holidays and weekend breaks are a time for relaxing, once the stress and strain of packing has been finished.
But a new guide by travel broadcaster and writer, Simon Calder, aims to solve all packing dilemmas leaving families more time to enjoy their holiday together.
After years of travelling both home and abroad, Specialist Cars Volkswagen in Aberdeen commissioned the renowned travel expert to share his wisdom, tips and advice in a handy guide for motorists to mark the arrival of its new MPV’s Touran and Sharan.
“Whether it’s the annual summer holiday or simply a weekend away the same rules apply on packing a car,” says Simon. “It’s all about making life easier. The more careful you pack the more carefree you can be.”

The new Touran and Sharan MPV’s both feature seven seats as standard and offer the fuel economy benefits of Volkswagen BlueMotion technology, with an mpg of up to 61.4 on the combined cycle for the Touran and 50.4 on the combined cycle for the Sharan.
