Trade in your old vehicle and you could get £2,000 off a new one with the new Scrappage Scheme, available from mid-May 2009
In the Budget released on 22 April, 2009, the UK Government announced people could get £2,000 off all new vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, in exchange for scrapping their old ones.
We're pleased to announce that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will take part in the Scrappage Scheme. Starting from mid-May 2009, the scheme will be available to the first 300,000 eligible claimants, or until 31 March 2010. Your old vehicle must be over 10 years old in order for you to take part in the scheme, and you'll need to prove that you've owned it for over 12 months.
