Aberdeen Audi Balmoral

John Clark Motor Group are delighted to announce the new Aberdeen Audi Terminal has opened this week at Balmoral Park on Wellington Road. The outstanding development has been designed to include exceptional customer facilities that will deliver a sales and aftersales experience that is industry leading.

Sitting alongside the group’s recently completed MINI and Nissan dealerships, the all new Audi Terminal will be the first of its kind in Scotland and one of only a handful of similar dealerships throughout the UK. The 4 acre premises are double the size of the old Audi site and will accommodate a new and used car showroom and a state-of-the-art 36 bay workshop.

The 22 new car showroom will showcase the stunning Audi range and includes a dedicated Audi Sport area for customers wishing to personalise the performance and body styling of their car. Sales Executives will host all visitors in the exclusive lounge area making the sales process more relaxed and informal, however offices are available if more privacy is required. A room has been dedicated to an innovative Audi Configurator, which will be opened later in November and there are 2 customer handover rooms that will make the collection of a customer’s vehicle a memorable experience.

A stand-alone building houses up to 12 used vehicles, sales offices and customer hospitality which is also supported by a substantial outdoor display of over 120 Approved Used models offering the customer a wealth of choice.

A total of £9 million has been invested into the development of the new Audi Terminal and 22 new job roles have been recruited as a result, bringing the total staff number to 151. A large majority of the new positions are required to staff the aftersales department which will include 39 Audi Trained Technicians and 12 apprentices. The impressive new workshop includes 33 ramps, plus two dedicated MOT Bays and an express fit tyre bay all equipped with the latest Audi equipment and technology.

Visitors to the workshop will be directed to the Drive-In which is conveniently located next to Service Reception. Upon arrival guests will be greeted by “concierge” before being introduced to their service advisor. A courtesy car will be waiting in the Drive-In facility to ensure an effortless and seamless experience. Customers that wish to wait while the work is carried out on their car are invited to take advantage of the customer lounge facilities where they can either enjoy breakfast or lunch as part of the Express Service, as well as catch up with work in the business lounge. Aberdeen Audi have also ensured that children can enjoy the new premises with the children’s play area complete with Playstation PS4 and bean bags.

Alan Robertson, Head of Business for Aberdeen Audi said “This is an extremely exciting time for the team at Aberdeen Audi. We all feel privileged to work in such superior facilities and are excited about welcoming customers into their new Audi Terminal. Anyone that visits the new site will immediately see the customer benefits, ample customer parking being the first obvious example, but with the Drive-In service, handover bays and exceptional lounge facilities we have great foundations to deliver both exceptional and memorable customer experiences.”

Chris Clark, group business development director of John Clark Motor Group added “This has been a significant investment and build project for the group but one that is justified in terms of the performance of the Aberdeen Audi business over recent years. There has been extensive thought and consideration into the design of the building to ensure we deliver a working environment that my colleagues will be proud to work in, and more importantly meet or even exceed, customer expectations in delivering the dealership of tomorrow.”
