At launch the 2019 BMW 3 Series Touring will offer three petrol and three diesel engines for you to choose from. The most economical of these is the entry-level diesel, the 2.0-litre 318d, which can return up to 65mpg. With an output of 150hp it enables the new BMW 3 series touring to propel from 0-60mph in 8.9 seconds. The subsequent 320d engine, with a maximum power of 190hp and peak torque of 400Nm, this model can accelerate from 0-62 in 7.5 seconds and offers a fuel economy of 64mpg. The 330d xDrive is the fastest diesel engine in the new BMW 3 Series 2019 range, rushing from 0-60mph in a mere 5.4 seconds. In 2020 a BMW 3 Series Touring model with plug-in hybrid drive system will be added to the range for the first time.
The new BMW 3 Series touring boasts a reduction in weight of up to 10kg. Not only does this help to deliver greater agility but it also reduces emissions.
