Showroom Accessibility

Motability Dealer in Scotland

The Equality Act 2010 states that disabled people should have equal access to things such as education, employment, goods and services, facilities, and transport. Accessibility means that someone with a disability, such as impaired vision, can do what they need to do in a similar time and effort as a person who does not have a disability. At John Clark Motor Group we strive to meet these expectations and make our showrooms and facilities fully accessible to enable people with disabilities to visit us.

Wheelchair Accessible Showrooms

We are proud of the fact that all of our businesses are wheelchair friendly and offer easy access to each of our showrooms situated in Aberdeen, Dundee, Dunfermline Perth, Stirling, Edinburgh, Elgin and Kirkcaldy. This ensures your visit will be hassle free and enjoyable whether you are looking to change your vehicle or have your current vehicle serviced or repair work carried out.

This includes lift access from lower level areas to upper level areas and a sloped ramp leads to areas that may have steps where necessary.

Parking

Our disabled parking bays are conveniently located next to the entrance of our showroom building, leaving only a short distance to move from your vehicle. This should always give you adequate space to enter and exit your vehicle comfortably.

Facilities

Our showrooms are equipped with a variety of facilities to ensure your visit is convenient and enjoyable and our businesses offer facilities like assistance for the hard hearing, non assisted wheel chair ramps, disabled and wheelchair accessible customer toilets. We also welcome assistance dogs to all customer areas of our showrooms.

Our workshops offer onsite MOT and Servicing and you are able to wait in our comfortable customer waiting area whilst your vehicle is being serviced. Alternatively, we are able to offer collection and drop off services for our service department from your home, an excellent alternative if you're unable to make your way to us for any reason.

If you have any queries about a specific showroom that you are planning to visit please don't hesitate to contact the team on site if you have any specific needs or requirements so that we can make reasonable adjustments for supporting your visit. For example, maybe you will require some information in large print or make use of screen readers or speech recognition software and would like us to be aware of this.

Similarly, if you have visited us recently and have feedback on how our showrooms can be more accessible or would like to raise awareness of an issue you encountered, please let us know so that we can continue to welcome all customers.
