Nissan debuted the fourth and final member of its series of concept vehicles on Friday 19th October, the Nissan Hyper Punk Concept. All four concepts will now be shown across the digital-3D billboard Cross Shinjuku Vision in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo until October 25th, when the Japan Mobility Show begins. Additionally, the concept vehicles will become available in the online game Fortnite under the name “Electrify the World” on the same day.

The Nissan Hyper Punk is wrapped in a functional and stylish body style and is an all-electric compact crossover tailored for creatives such as content creators, influencers, and artists. It does this by offering a seamless connection between the virtual world and the physical world and the inside and outside of the vehicle. It’s V2X (vehicle to everything) technology means that users can run and charge any devices anytime and anywhere as well as being able to share their energy with their collaborators and their communities.

It stands out from the crowd with multifaceted and polygonal surfaces which causes the silver paint tones to shift depending on the angle you’re viewing it at and the light source. 23-inch wheels expresses the versatile concept ideal for city and off-road driving whilst the headlights, tail lamps, and rear signature emphasise the polygonal shapes. The superior aerodynamic performance and bold powerful style represent the desire for self-expression and breaking conventional wisdom as well as Nissan’s progressive approach to introducing new technologies and designs.

The interior mirrors Japanese taste with origami-styled elements which creates a space where digital and art are seamlessly fused together. Onboard cameras capture the scenery around the car and then utilise AI to convert it to manga-style scenery or graphics according to your preference. It can be projected on a three-screen display around the cockpit.

It’s designed as a mobile creative studio with flawless internet connectivity and can link to all your devices and creative equipment, enabling you to access information or create on the go. AI and headrest biosensors detect your mood and automatically selects the right music and lighting to boost your energy and creativity.
