The CUPRA Born was named “Best Small Electric Car to Drive” when the What Car? Car of the Year Awards took place in mid-January, taking home the trophy for the second year in a row. It also won “Small Electric Car of the Year” in 2022, proving that it has continued to impress critics.

Commenting on the win, What Car? said: “The CUPRA Born offers a more engaging driving experience than its small electric car rivals, thanks to accurate, well-weighted steering and fine body control. Plus, performance is lively, and the Born has an excellent turning circle that makes it great at negotiating crowded city streets.”

The CUPRA Born was the first 100% electric car from the brand and is an impressive driver’s car, combining the perfect balance of electrification and performance.

CUPRA Born is available in the UK with three variants 58kWh 204PS (150kW), 58kWh 230PS e-Boost (170kW), and 77kWh 230PS e-Boost (170kW), with the 77kWh delivering up to 342 miles (WLTP) of range. The 58kWh 230PS e-Boost derivative is capable of a rapid 0-62mph time of 6.6 seconds thanks to a maximum 310Nm of instant torque.
