The All-New Dacia Spring Electric is finally coning to the UK after an incredibly successful launch in Europe where it became the third most sold electric car on the market. Now, coming to the UK, Dacia brings an affordable full electric car to the market for even more access to electric mobility with the new Spring.
The All-New Dacia Spring revealed by the brand houses a 308L boot and five doors, perfect for city living, and up to 137 miles of range. Equipped with advanced safety features, it's a smart choice for the eco-conscious driver seeking affordability without compromise.
The robust lines of the Dacia Spring give it the look of an off-road vehicle whilst the new Dacia brand identity is visibly present across the model, particularly with the black bands at either end of the car and are framed by the iconic Y-shaped light signature.
The front and rear bumpers on the Extreme trim level are adorned with contemporary decals whilst the 15 inch wheels, fitted with highly crafted wheel covers, add to the overall robust feel. The clever and durable design is reflected in the lower-door side protections which are easy to install and to replace if necessary whilst chrome parts have been removed to mitigate further impact on the environment.
Standard equipment on the Dacia Spring includes rear parking sensors, making parking your new car even easier every time whilst upgrading to the new Dacia Spring Expression will add the 15 inch wheels.
The All-New Dacia Spring is equipped to tackle both the urban jungle and country roads. Particularly compact (3.70m long) and with one of the best turning circles in its segment (4.80m wall-to-wall), it is exceptionally agile and easy to drive.
Dacia continues to the practicality of the Spring o the interior design, which includes electric front windows, a height adjustment 3-spoke steering wheel, and cruise control with a speed limiter.
It also offers the best storage volume in its class at 308 litres when all five seats are in use. This is extended to an exceptional interior storage space of 1004 litres when the rear seats are then folded down, making the Spring incredibly practical.
Every Dacia Spring Electric model comes with a 7-inch digital driver's display which is fully customisable to display the most important information for you. When the car is charging it will also display the battery level and the time remaining before the battery is fully charged again.
Media Control is standard on the Essential trim and Expression trim whilst the Media Nav Live System, with 10-inch central touchscreen display, is standard only on the top Extreme trim level. The Extreme trim also adds electric rear windows, wireless connectivity with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and the bi-directional charger.
The All-New Spring is offered in two electric motors providing 45HP and 65HP respectively with a 26.8 kWh battery.
This provides up to 137 miles of all electric driving range which Dacia have said is more than sufficient for customers who drive an average of just 23 miles per day. It's energy use works out below 14.6kWh/62 miles which keeps running costs low but also makes it the perfect car for all whether you need a slick city car or something a little more robust for longer journeys.
There are also innovative safety systems included across the Dacia Spring range including traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist, and the emergency braking system to give you additional support on every drive.
The Dacia Spring has also been awarded the top 5 star rating by Green NCAP which measures the impacts that the vehicle has on air quality, global warming, and energy efficiency. The Spring excelled in each of these categories and in 2023 was give their award for Best Car Green NCAP 2022, beating out countless electric rivals.
