Natasha Phillips Places 2nd at British Athletics Half Marathon Trials

Natasha Phillips triumphed at the weekend and took second place at the Bath Half marathon, which also doubled as British Athletics official trial race for World Athletics Road Running Championships half marathon.

She undertook a tough battle for second place alongside Annabel Gummow but ultimately won out with a time of 72:06, just short of the automatic World Championship qualifying time of 70:00.

Natasha was selected for Team GB and NI for the European Road Running Championships which will take place next month and will now have to wait until British Athletics makes their selection to find out if she has qualified for the World Athletics Road Running Championships.

John Clark Motor Group are delighted with her performance and results and wish her luck in her preparation for her Team GB and NI debut in April!
