Steady Start to BTCC for Gordon Shedden

The first three rounds of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) took place at Donington Park across 26^th and 27^th April, welcoming three-time champion Gordon Shedden back to the track.

He qualified in 13^th place, just falling short of the competitive Top 12 group and finished 19^th in Race 1, 11^th in race 2, and 13^th in Race 3. It gives him a total of 8 points in the Drivers’ Standings, comfortably putting him in the middle of the pack after three rounds.

Talking about his first weekend back on track on Instagram, Gordon said: “What a welcome back. Felt like a pinball wizard today which was far from ideal…”

His next race is at the beloved Brands Hatch circuit on 10^th and 11^th May, John Clark Motor Group wishes him luck in his preparation!
