BMW Security is a complete system that provides 24/7 protection for your BMW, with a concealed vehicle location system featuring Thatcham-approved accreditation. 

Accessible via the BMW Security App, it keeps you informed with real-time notifications and alerts about your vehicle’s status.​The BMW Security App is available for iOS and Android. Available across the Active S7, Active S5 and the Pro security systems, our dedicated service centre will assist in locating and recovering your car in the event of theft. ​

THE BMW SECURITY PRO S5.

Setting a new standard of excellence for stolen vehicle tracking, this comprehensive Thatcham-approved car tracking system is integrally installed in your BMW. It comes with a BMW Driver Tag – a small device that communicates with the system to monitor the location of the vehicle.

You will be sent a notification by SMS and through the BMW Security App if:

  • The car is moved with the engine switched off
  • The car is driven without the BMW Driver Tag in the car
  • The battery is disconnected
  • The BMW Security Pro system is disconnected

    • It also offers an Engine Ignition Lock function. If you have confirmed with our Secure Operating Centre that your vehicle has been taken, this allows them to prevent the car engine being turned on if it is switched off. Alternatively, if the car is being driven, it allows them to switch the engine off when the car comes to a stop, with police approval and if it is safe to do so. This gives you the best chance of recovering your BMW and stopping thieves in their tracks.

    BMW Security PRO S5 is available with a 1 or 3 year subscription.

    Fitted cost with 1 Year subscription: £895.

    Fitted cost with 3 Year subscription: £1,215.



    BMW SECURITY ACTIVE S5 & S7.

    For complete peace of mind, this comprehensive Thatcham-approved car tracking system is integrally installed in your BMW.

    If the car is moved with the engine switched off, the car is driven without the presence of the Driver Tag onboard, or either the battery or system are disconnected, you will receive a notification by SMS and through the BMW Security App. If the vehicle has been taken without your knowledge, our Secure Operating Centre will support you with tracking the car.

    BMW Security S5:

    Fitted cost with 1 Year subscription: £825.

    Fitted cost with 3 Year subscription: £1,145.

    BMW Security S7:

    Fitted cost with 1 Year subscription: £725.

    Fitted cost with 3 Year subscription: £1,045.



    BMW SECURITY.

    BMW Security is a Thatcham-approved battery-powered device that uses GPS technology to track your car if it’s stolen. With this security solution the device is hidden in a secret location inside your vehicle.

    The device can be activated and reports your vehicle’s location at regular intervals, giving you the best chance of recovering your BMW. You can manage your notifications through the BMW Security App.

    BMW Security is available with a 4 year subscription.

    Fitted cost with 4 Year subscription: £620.


    BMW SECURITY APP.

    The BMW Security App* offers you proactive support and services, plus it’s the most immediate way to receive alerts on suspicious activities relating to your vehicle. The app combines smart data from the BMW ConnectedDrive platform with market-leading vehicle tracking software, giving you cover across Europe 24/7.

    It also gives you key information about your BMW, including fuel or electric charge levels, making it simple to plan your journeys and check on the current status of your car.

    The BMW Security App offers:
