Crafted by BYD’s Global Design Director, Wolfgang Egger, the SEALION 7’s fastback silhouette, Ocean X front end, and sweeping dual waistlines give it an unmistakably modern presence. Aerodynamic shaping and 21” alloy wheels enhance performance while turning heads. Distinctive LED tail lamps with water-drop detailing create a sense of movement, while a panoramic sunroof and electric tailgate with foot-gesture control bring both beauty and everyday convenience.
The SEALION 7 delivers true EV performance with a 23,000 rpm motor, up to 313 hp and 0–62 mph in just 4.5 seconds in AWD form. A large 91.3 kWh Blade Battery offers up to 230 kW rapid charging – going from 10–80% in just 24 minutes – and the standard heat pump helps maximise range, even in colder conditions. Paired with iTAC torque distribution and adaptive suspension, the ride is smooth, efficient and always under control.
Inside, the SEALION 7 feels more like a tech-luxe lounge than a typical SUV. Heated and ventilated Nappa leather seats, vegan soft-touch surfaces, and 128-colour ambient lighting set the tone. A 15.6” rotating touchscreen anchors the intelligent cockpit, supported by a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system and advanced head-up display. With up to 1,789 litres of boot space, plus a 58-litre front trunk, it's made to fit life’s bigger plans – from luggage and sports gear to a full family road trip.
The SEALION 7 is smart in every sense. Powered by BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 and CTB (cell-to-body) battery integration for added strength and efficiency, it includes the world’s first mass-produced 8-in-1 electric powertrain.
