The John Clark Motor Group has always supported their local community either with charitable donations or supporting sporting events and is continuing to do so with their ongoing commitment to supporting athletes on their journeys to excellence.

Chloe Grant is an impressive young woman who started a racng career go karting and very quickly progressed to a racing debut in 2021 at the Junior Saloon Car Championships, finishing 14th. She was only 15 years old at the time.

A year later she graduated to the F1 Academy and she is now part of the GB4 Championship racing on familiar territory across the UK’s best circuits. It will be an exciting year ahead hopefully culminating in a second-year place in the F1 Academy for 2025.

Kirsty Muir, a Scottish Freestyle Skier, established a relationship with the group many years back when she was just 15 yeas old and we have been privileged to see her rise to fame. Having crossed paths at a sport function in Aberdeen, the Group offered some financial support to help her travel to Europe to train and compete.

Hard work and focus delivered results when she took to the world stage at the Winter Youth Olympics in 2020 and at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, where she was the youngest member of Team GB. Kirsty now has the very coveted title of being a Red Bull athlete and at the young age of 19, has an exciting career ahead of her and is most certainly one to watch out for in the freestyle skier world.

Jonny Adam Racing

Jonny Adam is a two-time Le Mans 24 Hour winner, and four-time British GT champion. He proudly won the Le Mans 24 Hour races in 2017 and 2020 and is currently competing for Aston Martin in the British GT Championship and the European Le Mans Series

The 2024 season will see the John Clark Motor Group branding displayed on Jonny’s newly designed race helmet and race suit. We are thrilled to be supporting Jonny and we are very much looking forward to the championship results for the rest of the season!

Blair MacLeod is a talented ski racer selected by the SSSA to represent Scotland for the under 16's category at the International Schools Federation World Winter Games. He has also previously trained with the Scottish Ski Team on their Home Nations Pathway Programme.

Blair has been skiing sincehe was just 3 years old and is now thoroughly enjoying ski racing, training weekly at Hillend Ski Slope in Edinburgh. Last year, he received an invitation to train with the Scottish Ski team on their Home Nations Pathway Programme.

Ellie Gower is an incredibly talented golfer who is currently partaking in the Ladies European Access Tour. She currently has three top ten finishes and ambitions to join the Ladies European Tour and LPGA.

She attended the University of Colorado after she won a prestigious golf scholarship to study there and had great success as part of the team. This included ranking third in the team with her 75.90 stroke average across 21 rounds and 7 tournaments: placing her stroke average fifth in CU sophomore history. She was also the top Buff at the Pac-12 Championship and placed 13th overall. Currently she is ranked 965th in the Rolex rankings with an average of 0.02 points across 27 events.

Natasha Phillips is truly an up and coming athlete, Natasha is currently the U20 European and British Half Marathon record holder completing the 13.1 miles in just 71 minutes and 19 seconds. She is also the Scottish senior champion over 10km, 10 miles and half marathon. Originally a swimmer and a triathlete, Natasha became more focused on running during the pandemic and has progressed from strength to strength. She is an aspiration to young athletes as she demonstrates a real maturity to her sport and competitions.

As expected, her training is intense, but she makes a point to stress it is important to add variety and always listens to her body and varies her programme accordingly. Again, one to watch both on the athletics track and on the road running scene.

Kirsty Mitchel golf swing

Kirsty Mitchell, currently 19, turned professional at the age of 16 and represents Forfar Golf Club. Mainly self-coached, Kirsty places a lot of emphasis on the technical aspect of her golf swing in her training. She has played at the club for several years and plays with a stroke average of 76.58. Kirsty is continuing her progress on the Ladies Access Tour which is the official development series for the Ladies European Tour.

Kirsty is hoping to qualify for the European Tour by earning valuable Order of Merit and world ranking points. Kirsty will be taking part in the up-and-coming John Clark BMW golf day later this summer as well as taking part in the remining Ladies Access tournaments. Mainly self-coached, Kirsty places a lot of emphasis on the technical aspect of her golf swing in her training. She has played at the club for several years and plays with a stroke average of 76.58.

Mikayla Parton, from Fort William is a sensational downhill mountain bike racer who has no fear of speed and tearing up the mountain trails with absolute determination.

Having only got her first downhill bike in 2015, she progressed quickly and was placed fifth in the Mountain Bike World Championships in 2020. Mikayla’s success is attributed to immense talent along with a consistent commitment to train hard and the group look forward to working with her in the months ahead.

Mason Robertson is a kart racer from Scotland, currently racing in the WSK Euro Series. The WSK Euro Series is a prestigious European open competition for kart racing, organized by WSK. The WSK Euro Series is a stepping stone for aspiring kart racers who dream of making it to the big leagues of motorsport. It was first held in 2010 and has become a breeding ground for future Formula One drivers.

Racing in the MINI GR.3 Under 10 category, Mason was victorious at the first round of the WSK Euro Series which was held in Franciacorta, Italy. Coming first place in the final, Mason outpaced the competition.


Eilidh Shaw, 19 has transferred her track speed to the road and has become a two-time Scottish Cycling champion in 2023. Eilidh had a great start to her 2024 season with a 5th place finish at the National Track Championships in February. Elidh had multiple podium finishes during March and April and finished 11th overall at the Tour De Feminin event in the Czech Republic this May.

Eilidh is part of the Alba Development Road Cycling Team which is an all-female elite cycling development team based in Scotland. The team has also achieved UCI Woman’s Continental status allowing riders like Eilidh to compete in road events on the international calendar.

Aston Sharp Racing Suit

Aston Sharp is the youngest Motorsport UK race winner, for the 2024 racing season. At 8 years old, Aston entered the Motorsport UK competition to be a F1 Future Star (grid kid) at the British Grand Prix and was paired with his hero Lewis Hamilton who went on to win the race.


In the upcoming season, Aston will compete in the highly competitive British and European X30 Championships. His recent success, including four podium finishes in as many races and a thrilling victory at Shenington, underscores his potential as a top contender in the motorsport world.


Alan Soutar "soots" is a scottish professional darts player who competes in the Professional Darts Corporation. Alan secured a two-year PDC Tour Card at the UK Qualifying School. Soutar then made his televised PDC debut with a first round defeat in the 2021 UK Open.

In recent years Alan has went on to reach the quarter-finals at the grand 2022 Grand Slam of Darts and won his maiden PDC title in 2024.
