Proud to Support Local Talent

At John Clark Motor Group, we are delighted to partner with Abhisri Chaudhuri, a Scottish-Bengali pianist, vocal coach and collaborative artist originally from Dundee.

Our partnership with Abhisri reflects our wider commitment to supporting and celebrating exceptional talent across Scotland. From grassroots football and rugby, to Scotland and British international rugby players, motorsport talent and the world of music and the arts, we are proud to work alongside talented individuals and organisations and help share their stories with our communities.

We are particularly proud to support Abhisri as she returns to her home city for her first solo concert in Dundee at Caird Hall on 14 November 2026.

We are delighted to partner with Abhisri Chaudhuri, a Scottish-Bengali pianist, vocal coach and collaborative artist originally from Dundee.

Abhisri specialises in art song, lieder, jazz, cabaret and classical song accompaniment, with a distinctive musical style that brings together classical traditions, Scots folk melodies, cabaret-style arrangements, and the songs and poetry of Rabindranath Tagore.

As part of our partnership, we are incredibly proud to support Abhisri as she returns to her home city for her first solo concert in Dundee, taking place at Caird Hall on 14 November 2026.

This promises to be a very special occasion, bringing Abhisri back to Dundee and providing audiences with the opportunity to experience her exceptional talent in the city where her musical journey began.

A Remarkable Record of Achievement

Abhisri has already received significant recognition for her work as a pianist, artist and writer, including:

Schubert Song Prize - Awarded by the Schubert Society of Britain, with Abhisri named the 2024 winner alongside soprano Eyra Norman.
Royal Philharmonic Society - Highly commended for the RPS Young Classical Writers Award, with her written articles featured on the RPS website.
Nora C. Leggat Prize for Pianoforte - Awarded by ABRSM.
Wellhayes Award - Awarded as part of the Somerset Song Prize.
Tony and Tanya Webster Memorial Prize for Russian Song.
Sir John Leng Medal for Scots Song.
