JCMG Takes on the Banchory Beast Race 2023
Saturday 23rd September saw our team of 20 colleagues take on the daunting challenge of the Banchory Beast Race: a 10km course with almost 30 challenging obstacles in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside.
The course included a trip through a swampy bog area, climbing stacks of hay bales, entering the loch via a slide, and testing their strength by pulling logs and lifting sandbags and they all tackled it like champions!
Times ranged from within an hour to a few hours as they tackled the course at their own pace but all said it was a great experience and a fun way to raise money for our charity partner, Race Against Dementia. Currently the total raised stands at £2170, a phenomenal effort from our team, and the team at Race Against Dementia are grateful for their efforts.
