John Clark Motor Group Charity Golf Day 2023

We happily welcomed back the John Clark Motor group Charity Golf Day on September 28th 2023, inviting a mixture of colleagues, suppliers, and customers to take part on the day to help raise funds for Race Against Dementia.

Before the teams headed out, we were entertained by well-known professional trick shot golfer, David Edwards.

Taking place on the PGA Centenary Championship Course at Gleneagles, 17 teams set out on a shambles format on the Ryder Cup themed day. As well as the game itself, there was an opportunity to take part in “Beat the Pro”, where players could take on the Gleneagles pro, Alex.

An excellent raffle also took place on the day, offering a range of exclusive prizes for individuals to try to win. This included a signed replica of Sir Jackie Stewart’s helmet, a weekend in a Land Rover Defender from Pentland Land Rover, and a state-of-the-art hoover donated by Dyson.

We’d like to thank all those who took part for an excellent day, and we are excited to announce that the day raised a total of £21,140 for Race Against Dementia, which will be greatly appreciated in their search for a cure.

We would also like to thank the team at Gleneagles for their hospitality and meal provision throughout the day, it was certainly a highlight for many attending, and to Lucas Stewart, Sir Jackie Stewart’s grandson, for taking part in the day too.
