The opening of Volvo Cars Edinburgh at 107 Glasgow Road is a first for the group, as Volvo Cars is a new addition to our broad portfolio of Automotive brands across the East and Central Belt of Scotland.
Chris Clark, Managing Director, commented on the new addition, “I have been watching Volvo with great interest over recent years and believe this is a very exciting time to join the brand. They have some amazing products and some inspirational developments planned in the future, all of which put Volvo firmly on the short list as a credible option in growing car segments.”
For many years the Volvo dealership has been based at Sighthill Industrial Estate in Edinburgh, but from the 28th February the Glasgow Road dealership will be the only manufacturer approved showroom providing sales and aftersales under one roof in the city.
The Divisional Director, Paul Lanni, has been with the John Clark Motor Group for 12 years, and is responsible for the new site. Paul commented, “I am really looking forward to working with Volvo and establishing a te,am that will offer both a helpful and friendly customer experience. With the new Compact SUV, XC40 that was recently launched and the V60 five-door, mid-size premium estate coming out in the near future, we have some great new models to celebrate.” Paul continued, “Volvo has always been synonymous with safety but today this brand offers so much more. Excellent driver performance, contemporary Swedish design and innovative technologies can be expected and appreciated by the Volvo customer of today. I therefore speak on behalf of the team when I say we are looking forward to working with these products and welcoming sales and service customers to our new facilities.”
