John Clark MG is proud to announce its new partnership with Dundee's own darts hero, Alan "Soots" Soutar. A local favourite and a star on the professional circuit, Soutar is currently ranked 53rd in the world and continues to impress fans with his determination and skill.
Before his rise in the world of professional darts, Soutar served as a commando in the British Army and has dedicated over two decades to his career as a firefighter. He impressively continues to balance his demanding schedule on the oche with his firefighting duties, his passion for training guide dogs, and his unwavering support for Arbroath F.C.
A PDC Tour Card holder since 2021, Soutar has quickly made his mark, securing his first PDC title at the 2024 Players Championship 11. He's also a fan favourite, celebrated for his memorable quarter-final run at the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts and his multiple appearances in the last 16 of the PDC World Championship.
