Blair Macleod has been busy across the summer both with training and competing.
Earlier in the season he spent time training in Norway with the Scottish Alpine Team and had success at the British Schools Championships in Manchester.
Across the weekend of 5th-6th August he was in action again at the East/West Coast Ski Races hosted by The Scottish Ski Club and Bearsden Ski Club and did exceptionally well on both days.
On day 1 he had a great first run and was initially sitting in overall 1st place. An U21 skier eventually then unseated him in run 2 but Blair still finished 1st in his category, U16, and then 2nd overall. He came back strong on day 2 with the aim of taking the overall win. However he was unlucky when he straddled in run 1 before coming back with the overall fastest time for run 2.
With strong results across the weekend he took home the cup for fastest boy, well done Blair!
