The Perthshire Classic Car Tour, organised by the Rotary Club of Perth, returns in 2024 and will take place on Sunday 21st April. Over 100 vintage, historic, and classic cars are expected on the day and the return route has been extended so that each leg of the journey will cover 100 miles.
John Clark Motor Group is proud to sponsor the event, with money raised benefiting both MS Society Scotland and BEAT Eating Disorders, and this is the second year that we have done so. Since 2017, Rotary Club of Perth have held four classic car events which have raised over £100,000 for their chosen charities.
Starting at McDiarmid Park, the home of St Johnstone Football Club, the tour will be waved off by the Provost of Perth and Kinross and then run through rural Perthshire along the banks of Loch Tay and on to Glencoe. Lunch will be served at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel before the tour then starts the return journey which will take them south through Appin to the Connel Bridge, and then east through Taynuilt and Lochawe to Tyndrum and Loch Earn. The day finishes at the Crieff Hydro Hotel where attendees are invited to a dinner and awards ceremony, whilst classic cars from Stephen Leckie’s collection will be on display for viewing.
Entries are now open if you would like to participate in the Tour in your own car, or there are multiple options available to support the event including sponsoring an individual driver to raise funds for the chosen charities. You can find all the information on the Perthshire Classic Car Tour website if you would like to contribute.
