Built to turn every country road into Route 66, The BMW R 18 Roctane is a synonym for pure nonchalance. It stands out despite its dark colours, or precisely because of them, with three versions of the R 18 Roctane emphasising its different facets.

R 18 Roctane Styling

The custom factory hot rod design character of the R 18 Roctane is truly unconventional, in black and matt, with three colours to choose from: Black Storm Metallic, Mineral Grey Metallic Matt and Manhattan Metallic Matt. The bagger outline, dragster seat and striking mini ape hanger demonstrate that this bike is anything but normal. Iconic design features such as the round LED headlight and 21" cast aluminium wheel make the R18 Roctane a real eye catcher. The traditionally shaped round dial has been integrated into the headlight, with large, easy to read digits and the fuel gauge has been replaced with a cleaner warning light.

R 18 Roctane Performance

The uncompromising ride of The R 18 Roctane is provided by the powerful big boxer engine, generating consistently high torque of up to 158Nm for guaranteed sheer riding pleasure. At 4,750rpm, the big boxer delivers a whopping 91hp, with engine drag torque control and automatic stability control to manage the power. The impressive boxer sound originates from the equally impressive exhaust system. The dark chrome exhaust system creates the unique boxer sound from the silencer to make even more of a statement.

R 18 Roctane Comfort

The comfortable dragster seat height and relaxed riding position give you perfect support on long tours, as well as optimum seating ergonomics for an upright seating position, while you can comfortably rest your feet on the footboards. Water resistant hard shell cases with black hinges offer space of up to 10kg of luggage, with an easy open top loader design. The three riding modes: Rock, Roll and Rain, offer even more safety and riding pleasure on short trips or long tours, while you have the option of the linked brake system or rear brake pedal.
