We are delighted to welcome you to the John Clark Motor Group Knockhill Track Night at Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Date: Wednesday 22nd July
Venue: Knockhill Racing Circuit, Fife, Dunfermline, KY12 9TF

Schedule

• Registration Opens: 16:30
• Driver Safety Briefing: Prior to track sessions
• Track Time: 18:00 – 20:00

Please arrive in plenty of time to complete registration and attend the mandatory safety briefing before going on track.

Important Information for Drivers

Your Vehicle

All guests will be driving their own vehicles during the event.

It is the responsibility of each driver to ensure that their vehicle is in a suitable condition for track use. Neither John Clark Motor Group nor Knockhill Racing Circuit will carry out vehicle inspections, and both organisations accept no responsibility for the condition, suitability or mechanical integrity of any vehicle participating in the event.

We recommend that drivers perform appropriate checks on tyres, brakes, fluids and general vehicle condition before attending.

Track Insurance

Please note that standard road insurance policies do not typically cover track day activities.

If you wish to have insurance cover whilst driving on track, it is your responsibility to arrange and purchase suitable track day insurance prior to the event.

Neither John Clark Motor Group nor Knockhill Racing Circuit provides track insurance as part of this event.

Driver Requirements

To participate as a driver, you must:

• Be aged 17 or over
• Hold a valid full driving licence
• Attend the mandatory safety briefing before entering the circuit
• Complete and submit the required disclaimer form

Passengers

Passengers are welcome during track sessions provided they meet the following requirement:

• Must be at least 135cm tall

All passengers must comply with Knockhill's safety regulations and complete any required documentation.

Disclaimer Form

A completed disclaimer form is required before participating in the event.

You can download the disclaimer form using the link provided below. A copy has also been emailed directly to all attendees.

Please ensure this is completed before arrival where possible to help speed up registration.

Safety Equipment

Helmets are mandatory for all drivers and passengers whilst on track.

If you do not have your own helmet, one can be provided by Knockhill on the day.

Driver Support

Whether this is your first track experience or you are a regular enthusiast, all abilities are welcome.

Professional instructors will be available throughout the evening to provide:

• Driver tuition
• Circuit guidance
• Driving advice and support

Guests can enjoy:

• Light catering and refreshments
• Race simulator challenges
• "Beat the Pro" competitions
• Prizes to be won throughout the evening

Friends and family are encouraged to attend and can enjoy the action from the Race Control viewing platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I drive my own car?

Yes. All participants will be driving their own vehicles.

Is my car insured for track driving?

Most standard motor insurance policies do not cover track day driving. If you require cover, you must arrange your own specialist track day insurance before the event.

Will my vehicle be inspected before going on track?

No. Vehicle preparation and suitability remain the responsibility of the driver. John Clark Motor Group and Knockhill Racing Circuit do not conduct vehicle inspections.

Yes. Helmets are mandatory and can be provided if required.

Yes, provided they are at least 135cm tall and comply with all event safety requirements.

Can friends and family attend?

Absolutely. Spectators are welcome and can watch from the Race Control viewing platform.

Is instruction available?

Yes. Experienced instructors will be available throughout the evening to provide guidance and tuition.
