It has been a significant year for the John Clark Motor Group in terms of recognition for their commitment to customer service and development of their people. At the beginning of the 2015 Automotive Management awarded the group Retailer of the Year and Best Retail Group (with more than 10 sites) and have recently been announced as the third listed company in The Sunday Times Top Track 250.

Chris Clark, business development director, attributes this recognition to the people in the organisation. “We have experienced five consecutive record-breaking years and I strongly believe these results are due to our continued investment in our people. As one of only two dealer groups in Scotland who are an IMI Accredited Award Centres, the group takes pride in growing and developing talent as it strongly believes it is a key component to ensuring a loyal and content workforce.”

The group is a family owned business that operates across the North East of Scotland and represents Audi, BMW, BMW Bikes, Jaguar, Land Rover, MINI, SEAT, ŜKODA, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercials and Nissan. Looking to the future, Chris and his father, John Clark, Chairman and Managing Director, have developed and expanded the business over the last two years with the addition of seven new dealerships. Their vision to continue to deliver their growth strategy makes the group a dynamic and exciting business to be part of.

During October the group opened its new Aberdeen Audi Terminal at Balmoral Park on Wellington Road. This impressive new facility has created 22 new job roles, which means the group’s total workforce is 1168, with 631 based in Aberdeen alone.
