The All-New MG4 EV is MG's first ever fully electric hatchback car, built on the advanced Modular Scalable Platform architecture, with an electric range of up to 281 miles on the WLTP combined cycle. The MG EV4 was awarded "Best Electric Car" by Autocar, who highlighted its excellent value, modern interior space and fun drive.
MG4 EV Design
Built from the ground up as an electric vehicle on the brand new Modular Scalable Platform, The New MG4 EV is available in six distinctive colours, including brand new Volcano Orange, exclusively available on the Trophy Long Range. The sharp yet sleek body not only looks stunning, but is also designed with improved aerodynamics in mind. The aero covers for the 17" alloy wheels and the Active Grille System both help to regulate the airflow into the front compartment to help this electric vehicle achieve optimal battery range.
MG4 EV Performance
Offering a combined range of up to 281 miles and city range of 360 miles, the all electric MG4 EV is a no compromise electric car, which can charge from 0-80% battery in as little as 35 minutes with a 150kW rapid charger. There are 3 battery options, with 51kW, 64kW and 77kW capacity variants. These range from power outputs of 170PS to 245PS in the Trophy Long Range Extended, which also has an increased top speed from 100mph to 112mph. The combined driving efficiency across the 3 variants averages at 3.7 miles per kWh.
MG4 EV Interior
The modern interior of the MG4 EV is just as innovative and intelligent as the exterior, with a 10.25" floating colour touchscreen immediately catching the eye, while the stylish rotary gear selector sits on the centre console. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto give you complete connectivity, while a digital display provides the important driver information. The cabin benefits from a thin battery and long wheelbase, which means both plenty of headroom and generous front and rear seat space.
MG 4 EV Technology
The New MG4 EV is loaded with advanced Driver Assistance Systems for additional road safety, known as the MG Pilot Suite, with features such as intelligent high beam assist, traffic jam assist and intelligent speed limit assist with traffic sign recognition all coming standard. Thanks to MG iSmart app connectivity, drivers can also control several functions from your smartphone, including charge status, finding the nearest charge point for electric cars and also for use of the pre entry climate control.
MG 4 EV Trim Levels
There are 4 models to choose from in the MG4 EV range, the SE Standard Range, SE Long Range, Trophy Long Range and MG4 EV Trophy Extended Range. Auto Projector LED headlights, Rear Parking Sensors and 17" alloy wheels come standard, plus a leather steering wheel and various driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking and the lane departure warning system. The Top spec Trophy models come with a Centre Bar light pattern incorporated with the LED Rear Lights, a Heated Steering Wheel, as well as blind spot detection, lane change assist and rear cross traffic alert.
