The New Austral uses Formula 1 inspired Hybrid Technology to deliver improved performance with greater driving pleasure, in hand with reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The Full Hybrid model starts silently in Full-Electric mode, then calls upon the turbocharged petrol motor when required, for a combined total power output of up to 200hp. Since the 1.7kWh lithium-ion 400V battery is recharged while you decelerate or brake, there is no need to plug The Full Hybrid in.

Also on offer is a Premium Sound system, developed and precisely tuned for The Renault Austral in partnership with the long standing leaders of automotive sound, Harman Kardon. The Austral introduces a brand new trim, The Esprit Alpine, which draws from the sporting DNA of The Renault Group's flagship brand, Alpine. The new, specially designed Satin Shale Gray paint colour is enhanced by 20" Daytona Alloys in Black and the addition of an assertive grille bar at the front, with Alpine badging to highlight the exclusivity. A selection of top-end equipment is found inside, along with further distinctive design elements. Alcantara upholstery with carbon fibre 'twill' fabric and blue piping is joined by a Nappa Leather steering wheel with 3 tone stitching, and you'll notice the Alpine logo on the aluminium pedals and door sills.
