MOT Retest Policy

If your vehicle fails it's MOT for any reason you can leave it at Specialist Cars Renault for a free partial retest, within 10 working days.

However, if you would like to take your car away to repair the faults you can still bring it back to us for a partial retest, there will be a small fee for this retest.

You can take your vehicle away from Specialist Cars Renault if your MOT certificate is still valid.

If your MOT has run out you can take your vehicle to:

- a pre-arranged MOT test appointment

In both cases, your vehicle still needs to meet the minimum standards of road-worthiness at all times or you can be fined.

In all other cases, you’ll need to get a full retest and pay the full MOT test fee again.
