The Volvo C40 Recharge is a derivative of the Volvo XC40 but is offered as a premium hatchback rather than a crossover style SUV. All models come with automatic LED headlights with active high beam and integrated daytime running lights. Both models offer a top speed of 112 miles per hour and maximum torque of 420Nm and 670Nm respectively.
The interior of the Volvo C40 Recharge offers an excellent an practical amount of space, with passenger over six foot easily able to get comfortable inside with plenty of legroom available. The boot space is also some of the best in the market segment with 489 litres available with all seats in use which opens up to 1205 litres with the rear seats folded.
Whilst previous models offered leather seats, the current models follow Volvo's approach to responsible luxury and are based on Scandinavian aesthetics. This includes options for upholsteries partially made from recycled materials which Volvo describes as "visually harmonising" interior design features.
