Geely Auto UK has confirmed that the all-new Geely EX2 will arrive in UK showrooms from late August 2026, bringing one of the world's most successful electric cars to British drivers.
Known as the Geely Xingyuan in China, the EX2 was the country's best-selling vehicle during 2025, with more than 450,000 units sold. Designed specifically for modern urban living, the compact all-electric hatchback combines stylish design, practical interior space and zero-emissions driving, making it an exciting new addition to the Geely range.
The EX2 will become the third model in Geely Auto UK's growing line-up, following the successful introduction of the Geely EX5 electric SUV and the Starray EM-i Super Hybrid.
With its compact dimensions, the EX2 is perfectly suited to city driving while offering the comfort, technology and practicality expected from a modern electric vehicle. Full UK specifications, pricing and trim levels will be announced closer to launch.
The EX2 has already proven hugely popular overseas, becoming China's best-selling passenger vehicle in 2025 according to data from the Chinese Passenger Car Association. Monthly sales peaked at more than 50,000 vehicles, highlighting the model's broad appeal and strong reputation.
Its arrival in the UK reflects Geely's commitment to bringing globally successful electric vehicles to British customers.
The launch of the EX2 forms part of Geely Auto UK's ambitious expansion plans, which include introducing 10 new models over the next three years and building a nationwide dealer network to support customers across the country.
As Geely continues to grow in the UK market, the EX2 will offer drivers another affordable and practical electric vehicle option, whether they're commuting, running everyday errands or making the switch to electric for the first time.
