The special edition MINI Cooper S Hatch is predicted to be available from March 2019 and is estimated to be priced at £29,990. With so much buzz about this car we will be excited to see (hopefully) quite a few around Aberdeen and Dundee.
Every 500 units will be styled in uniform in styling and technology available. The outside will a fabulous British Racing Green with a striking black roof and black mirror caps. There will be limited edition two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and MINI spot-lamps also feature. Special features throughout the styling will have 60th anniversary bonnet strips and badging to really bring the heritage alive.
Inside, the interior is sumptuous dark brown leather with iconic green piping and white stitching. We are obsessed with this colour contrast that brings a zesty freshness to this iconic model. As we have come to expect from MINI there will be customisation ambient lighting, a wireless smartphone charger and parking sensors as standard. There is also a larger 8.8-inch infotainment system which comes with sat-nav, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.
The performance under the hood of this limited-edition MINI is something to behold. It is powered by the 189nhp turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. The 60th anniversary edition model will do 0-62mph in 6.7 seconds and top out at 146mph.
This model will be offered in the UK exclusively with an automatic transmission, which means your fuel economy will be up to 43.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 129g/km of CO2.
