The popular Mini Hatch and MINI Convertible have received a mid-life update – for both the three and five-door configurations. As well as a bold exterior facelift, you can also expect new transmission and innovative high-tech features.
Here in the UK, the MINI Hatch and MINI Convertible range represent some of the most popular cars on the road today. Thanks to the latest upgrade, they’re set to become even more popular when they launch this year.
Just one look at the MINI 5 door and MINI 3 door versions and you’ll notice the visual changes. Check out the new LED tail-lamps, which feature the Union Jack on the lens and now come as standard across the line-up. This MINI car has also been kitted out with sharp LED headlights, plus smart, single-ring daytime running lights to get you noticed from dusk until dawn.
When it comes to customisation, you’ll have three extra paint options and alloy wheel designs to choose from. And there’s also new 3D-printed trim pieces, which can be personalised to you.
Hop on board and a 6.5-inch touchscreen is now fitted as standard, plus USB and Bluetooth connectivity alongside a multifunction steering wheel for your convenience. There’s also a wider choice of leather trim, new interior backlit surfaces and colour lines to choose from. And a handy wireless smartphone charger has also been made available.
As for engines, there’s a new addition to the line-up: an impressive 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol unique, which offers 190Nm of torque.
