John Clark Motor Group is delighted to once again partner with Run Balmoral in 2026, proudly returning as the main sponsor of the iconic Devil O Deeside challenge.
Taking place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April 2026, Run Balmoral is one of Scotland’s most unique and scenic running events, set within the stunning surroundings of the Balmoral Estate. With a range of races for all ages and abilities, the event continues to attract runners and families from across the country for a memorable weekend of sport and community.

Run Balmoral offers something for everyone. Saturday features junior races alongside the popular 5K and 10K, while Sunday’s events venture deeper into the estate with the 6 Mile and 15 Mile trail races. All routes take place on traffic-free roads and trails, giving participants the rare opportunity to run through the grounds of the Royal Family’s Highland home.
Beyond the races, the event village provides a welcoming atmosphere for spectators and families, with access to estate grounds, woodland walks, and attractions including the Castle Ballroom Exhibition.
At the heart of John Clark Motor Group’s involvement is the Devil O Deeside, a true test of endurance and determination.

With cumulative times deciding the winners in both male and female categories, it’s a demanding but rewarding feat. Every finisher earns not only individual race medals, but also a special John Clark Motor Group Devil O Deeside medal.
While entries are no longer available, there is still plenty of opportunity to get involved - whether that’s cheering on participants, soaking up the atmosphere, or supporting friends and family taking part.
