The 21-year-old freestyle skier, and member of Clarkie’s Clan, set the standard from the opening run. She launched the competition with a technically demanding left double-14 safety, scoring 91.25 and immediately topping the leaderboard. Confident and composed throughout the event, she reinforced her lead with a smooth right double-10 mute in the final round, bringing her total to 174.50.
Her combined score placed her well clear of Canada’s Naomi Urness and China’s Liu Mengting, securing not only the win but also the first GB Snowsport podium of the season.
This victory is another important step in Kirsty’s return to top form following knee and shoulder surgery that kept her out of action for much of 2023. It adds to the momentum she built with slopestyle gold in Tignes last season, marking her second career World Cup win and reinforcing her position as one of Britain’s standout winter athletes.
With this gold medal under her belt, Kirsty now heads to the next Big Air World Cup event in Beijing on 4 December, carrying strong momentum into the season and towards Milano Cortina 2026.
