Kirsty Muir secured her first FIS world cup win at the Slopestyle World Cup in the Women’s Freeski event in Tignes.
She won with a score of 77.98 points and saw her start by landing a switch left back blunt 900. Following that, she executed a right 720 safety grab. Next, she performed a left 270 onto the first rail, continuing the rotation for another 270 degrees while on the rail. She then transitioned off the rail with a switch left 270, landing forward. This was followed by a right slide that transitioned into a frontside 450 off another feature. Finally, she launched off the last jump and completed a left cork 900 with a tailgrab.
Talking about her win she said: “It’s crazy, this is my first World Cup win and just coming back from my knee and everything – honestly, the best feeling ever.”
Kirsty had spent more than a year away from competing and training due to a knee injury and everyone at John Clark Motor Group is delighted to not only see her return but perform incredibly!
