Skoda SUV Range

The SUV segment has grown exponentially in the last few years, with many brands realising that buyers don't just want an enormous off roader when they talk about SUVs and adjusting their offerings in response. Škoda is no different and have refreshed the Skoda SUV range offering in the last few years.

There are four models in the Škoda SUV Family: The Enyaq IV, the Kamiq, the Karoq, and the Kodiaq. Each has it's own unique qualities and distinct simply clever features and but the same Skoda commitment to exterior and interior design.

You can trust that these have built in confidence thanks to the Škoda connection to the VW Group. Many of the parts and systems come from their parent company, meaning that many Škoda models share the same high quality that you can expect from any VW, usually at a lower price too.

Škoda Enyaq IV

The Škoda Enyaq IV is the all-new all-electric model in the Škoda SUV range. It was first launched in 2020 as part of Skoda's "Strategy 2025", their plan and commitment to electrifying their range, and is the brand's first fully electric model.

It rivals the Skoda Kodiaq for space, with a boot volume of over 500 litres, and offers an estimated 320 miles from a single charge. That places it above many other popular electric cars such as the BMW iX3 or the Audi E Tron for range which is incredibly impressive.

Inside is a tech lover's dream fitted with a 13 inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, Skoda's virtual cockpit for the driver, and Wireless Smartlink. It's a comfortable and spacious SUV and well priced for the electric market.

Škoda Kamiq

Launched in 2019, the Škoda Kamiq is the smallest in the Skoda SUV range. It's a great option for people who want a raised height when they drive but don't want the larger body style that comes with purchasing an SUV. This is an ideal alternative to the Volkswagen T Cross or the SEAT Arona.

The Škoda Kamiq may be the smallest SUV that Skoda offers but it doesn't mean that it's lacking for space. It's got a longer wheelbase than the other models in the class which allows more room for passengers and is what Skoda have made a priority to make it a great family car.

The Skoda Kamiq has three familiar turbo petrol engines thanks to the Volkswagen connection to the brand. There's two 1.0 litre options and one 1.5 litre and a good mix of manual and automatic gearboxes for whichever you prefer to drive.

Škoda Karoq

The Škoda Karoq is the mid sized car available in the Škoda SUV range. It was launched in 2017, as an indirect replacement for the beloved Škoda Yeti. It's a sister model to the SEAT Ateca with the same build but has the styling and features of the Škoda brand.

It offers more space than the compact Kamiq and has most recently had a refined 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine added to it's options, making it more economical as you drive. It rivals the Volkswagen Tiguan or the SEAT Alteca.

One of the best things about the Škoda Karoq SUV is that, whichever trim level you choose, it will be surprisingly well equipped. This is one thing that Škoda is very good at doing with its cars, and this gives the Karoq a bit of extra appeal over many of its rivals.

Skoda Kodiaq

The Škoda Kodiaq is the largest SUV in the Škoda SUV range. It's a seven seater, which makes it unique in the range, and is graceful to drive either on or off road. It's ideal for those who want to focus on space as it has a 765 litre boot space with the third row of seats folded away if you don't need all seven seats.

The Kodiaq was given a facelift in 2021 to update a few of the exterior details. There's now a taller bonnet and more upright radiator grille for a stronger look from the front of the car. This was paired with slimmer headlights and a new front bumper design too.

The Škoda Kodiaq offers five different petrol and diesel engines, all with automatic gearboxes. The range-topping vRS model uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine to bring high performance to the SUV range, something a little different from the others that Škoda offers.
