An instant classic when it was launched in 2013, the Jaguar F‑TYPE’s powerful shape and beautiful proportions paid tribute to its incredible heritage while looking to the future as the latest in Jaguar’s iconic bloodline of high‑performance sports cars.
Recently revised for 2017, the F-Type’s exterior design is sculpted by the wind itself, formed by Jaguar’s state‑of‑the‑art Computational Fluid Dynamics design methods. Aerodynamic performance is seamlessly integrated into the body for low levels of lift and excellent stability at high speed. And whatever speed you’re moving, F‑TYPE’s new adaptive LED headlights will adjust their beam to guarantee the best possible illumination.
In their ongoing efforts to make the F-Type appeal to an even broader range of customers, Jaguar are now introducing a state-of-the-art 300PS 2.0-litre turbocharged engine to their F-Type collection – making it their most powerful four-cylinder ever offered in Jaguar production.
Combining the same turbocharged 2.0 litre 4-cylinder Ingenuim engine already used in other Jaguar vehicles with the two-seater Sports car, helps to deliver an F-Type with enhanced agility, improved efficiency and affordability.

VEHICLE LINE DIRECTOR, JAGUAR F-TYPE
It’s an F-Type through and through, as the 2.0L engine retains the performance expected from an F-Type. The model can accelerate from 0-60mph in only 5.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 155mph.
The F-Type gets its power is boosted to a 296 HP and reaches a maximum torque of 400Nm, generated from just 1,500rpm, together with the eight-speed Quick shift transmission, to deliver an extra-ordinary response through the rev range.
Despite being the smallest powerhouse in the F-Type range, the four-cylinder 2.0L turbocharged engine actually has the highest specific power output: 150PS per litre and is the most efficient. With a 16 percent improvement in fuel economy over the 340PS V6, together with CO2 emissions of just 163g/km on the European combined cycle.

CHIEF PRODUCT ENGINEER, JAGUAR SPORTS CARS
The Ingenium engine contributes to an overall vehicle weight reduction of 52kg – most of which is over the front axle – making the car beautifully balanced and agile to drive.
Furthermore, the 2.0L F-Type won’t be compromising in the noise department, with a “meticulously-tuned” active exhaust to deliver a distinct four-cylinder soundtrack – letting everyone know you’re on the road.
The 2.0L F-Type has retained the DNA and the silhouette of the F-Type, ensuring it remains a true jaguar Sports car and a true F-Type.
