Jaguar Land Rover has recognised that they must commit to becoming a more sustainable company and that starts with their two brands. CEO Thierry Bolloré announced Reimagine, Jaguar Land Rover’s new global strategy which will see the company “reimagine the future of modern luxury by design through its two distinct, British brands.”
For the Jaguar brand this means a reconsideration of the brand as an all-electric luxury brand from 2025 onwards.
The group also aims to have net zero carbon emissions across supply chain, products, and operations by 2039 whilst the wider Tata Group intends to work with industry leaders to collaborate and share knowledge. This will allow them to explore clean energy, connected services, and software development leadership.
JLR have made a commitment to become “a sustainable-first, proudly luxurious, technology leader for the world”.
