A bold presence
Some cars are engineered to meet expectations. Type 01 was created to shatter them.
Long bonnet. Low profile. Monolithic presence. It is a Grand Tourer shaped by one uncompromising principle: protect the purity of the design.
Innovation as art. From the first sketch, nothing was allowed to compromise the silhouette. The result is the patented JEA body architecture, a radical new interpretation of EV design and the longest, lowest and most torsionally rigid Jaguar ever created.
Underfloor batteries traditionally raise a roofline. Not here. The connectors for the 200 battery cells sit at the sides of each cell rather than on top, saving precious millimetres of height without compromising range or presence.
Efficiency everywhere. Key components are positioned with intent. The Battery Energy Management system sits between the front wheels and doubles as a brace for the front suspension. The intelligent three-stage deployable rear spoiler stays hidden at low speeds, then reduces drag and generates up to 75 kg of downforce at 96 mph³.
Glass meets body without visible trims. Frameless doors, an elegantly hemmed waist and sensors concealed behind the surfaces keep the form unbroken. Door handles and the spoiler stay hidden until needed.
A choice of gloss and optional satin finishes reveals the surfaces and dramatic geometry.
Bold proportions. 23-inch wheels bring presence with aerodynamic purpose, with the Jaguar Monogram at the centre. A unique 21-inch all-season wheel balances efficiency and performance.

A Signature Brass-inspired centre spine runs the length of the interior, creating individual spaces for four occupants.
A single 24-inch glass OLED display combines instrumentation and infotainment, while over 450 litres⁷ of combined loadspace and hidden stowage open to reveal splashes of colour.
Active Road Noise Cancellation and dual-isolated drive units create exceptional refinement.
A full-width Panoramic Soundbar, powered by Meridian™, builds a wall of sound. Tailored Cabin Moods bring together light, fragrance and shade for an Energise or Comfort environment.
A single 24-inch glass OLED display extends to the centre, combining instrumentation and infotainment.
The ClearSight Rear View Display, housed within the Panoramic Soundbar, replaces the traditional mirror with a more natural focal length.

Confident foundations. The stiffest integrated body and battery structure ever made by Jaguar underpins a low centre of gravity, 50/50 weight distribution and a large tyre contact surface.

Charging and connectivity
Confidence. Convenience.
Advanced thermal management moves energy between cabin and battery, cooling in hot weather and harvesting ambient energy to warm the battery on freezing mornings. An EV for all climates.
Jaguar Route Planning⁴ schedules charging stops automatically. The Jaguar app⁸ connects you to a network of charging points through one account⁹,¹⁰. Charging ports on both sides make it easy to plug in wherever you park.
An intelligent digital ecosystem links apps, navigation, charging and systems, supported by remote software updates. Manage pre-conditioning, remote locking and notifications from the Jaguar app⁸.
The optional Jaguar Home Charger¹², inspired by Type 01’s design and colour palette, unlocks scheduled or smart charging.
