COVID-19 John Clark Motor Group Business Update


We continue to pay close attention to the guidance issued by the Prime Minister and First Minister of Scotland while also taking into account the service and maintenance demands of all key workers, as well as attending to safety related issues on our customer cars, which have been considerably more than we had initially anticipated.

In light of this we have been using our lockdown time wisely and considering how we can continue to support customers with their motoring needs while safeguarding their wellbeing and importantly, ensuring our colleagues feel comfortable and confident while at work.

Our Protective Measures

We have implemented protective measures in line with the government’s guidelines. All staff will have protective clothing and we have provided online training to ensure they know how to keep you and themselves safe. In our dealerships we have installed protective screens on all desks, positioned social distancing graphics to remind us of the 2m rule, placed sanitisation points throughout the dealership and so much more. Aftersales Centres

From the 11th May we are opening further aftersales centres, which is in line with government advice, to respond to safety related customer demand. Contactless Service Programmes

We have reviewed all our standard processes to ensure that wherever possible we can offer you a normal service but ensure you have peace of mind when doing business with us.We have adjusted our Service While You Wait and Collection and Delivery programmes but also introduced an Express Safe Service allowing you to simply drop your keys and go – all to keep your vehicle safe and keep you on the road. If you are considering buying a new or used car – you can now do so from the comfort of your own home.
