SPECIAL VEHICLE OPERATIONS EXPLORING EXTREME DISCOVERY MODEL


Great news for all Land Rover Discovery fans and enthusiasts, according to UK motoring press, the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division for Jaguar Land Rover are currently devising plans to launch a brand-new Discovery SVX – an enhanced version of the 5th generation model which arrived in showrooms this February.

Since 1989, the Land Rover Discovery has been taking drivers to new heights by excelling in off-road capability and performance.

The all new Discovery, however, it expected to outperform all of its predecessors. By featuring chunky off-road tyres, powerful spotlights, supportive seats and harnesses to aide in driving at steep angles, an SVX variant would take the Discovery formula to the extreme. It is likely to be based on the top-spec 3.0 litre TDV6 model – providing an attractive proposition for 4X4 super-fans.

Despite there being no word on the release date, SVO have suggested a regular timeframe for vehicle releases.
