John Clark Motor Group is delighted to announce its support of EcoRally Scotland 2025 — the first FIA international motorsport event to be held in Scotland in over a decade. Running from 25 to 27 July, the rally will bring together electric and hybrid vehicles for a unique event that blends competition, innovation and environmental responsibility.
EcoRally Scotland is part of the prestigious Bridgestone FIA EcoRally Cup, one of only two international electric vehicle championships in the world. Drivers will cover over 155 miles through the Tayside and Fife countryside, completing regularity tests that challenge their precision, navigation and teamwork.
Powered by Motorsport UK’s StreetCar programme, the rally is designed to make motorsport more accessible than ever. It invites everyday EV and hybrid drivers to experience the thrill of competition in a safe and affordable environment — proving that the future of motorsport is both inclusive and sustainable.John Clark Motor Group’s Broomhill Road site in Dundee will serve as a key location throughout the rally weekend. On Friday 25 July, we will host vehicle scrutineering and act as the official Parc Fermé site. Media operations will also begin that day, ahead of a ceremonial start at Camperdown Park later that evening.
The rally then unfolds across two days, with drivers setting off from Dundee Kingsway on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday includes a scheduled stop at Knockhill near Dunfermline, while Sunday takes the route through Queen’s View near Pitlochry before the teams return to Dundee for the podium ceremony and closing dinner.
EcoRally Scotland is built on Motorsport UK’s StreetCar programme, which encourages EV and hybrid owners to get involved in grassroots motorsport using their everyday road cars. The event champions accessibility, sustainability and the future of cleaner motorsport, with a clear link to Scotland’s Net Zero goals and Dundee’s Charging for the Future strategy.
By partnering with Motorsport UK, John Clark Motor Group is proud to play a role in shaping the future of the automotive industry. Our involvement reflects our long-standing commitment to innovation, responsible business practices and supporting local initiatives that have lasting impact.
EcoRally Scotland 2025 marks the beginning of an exciting new era for motorsport in Scotland. As the event gains momentum, it opens the door to new commercial opportunities, wider community involvement, and long-term growth for sustainable motorsport across the country.
We’re excited to welcome EcoRally Scotland to Broomhill Road and look forward to playing our part in this landmark event.
