The Paris Motor Show will see the unveiling of the much-anticipated SEAT Arona TGI, the world's first compressed natural gas powered SUV.
Guests at the famous automotive show, running from 4th-14th October 2018, will get the opportunity to see the new SEAT SUV model up close and personal.
Powered by a three-cylinder, 12 valve, 1.0 litre engine, the Arona TGI cleverly integrates three CNG tanks to increase gas range and significantly improve value for money.
The result? A decrease in CO2 emissions by as much as 25% and NOx emissions by up to 75%. Pretty impressive!
The arrival of the SEAT Arona TGI marks the fourth SEAT car to harness technology to benefit from cleaner, cheaper fuel. The SEAT Leon, Ibiza and Mii ranges also offer these benefits.
“SEAT is actively boosting CNG as the fuel forms a sustainable additional alternative,” said Luca de Meo, President of SEAT. “Furthermore the technology is compatible with the use of quality-assured, renewable biomethane, ensuring the long-term future of CNG as an alternative for low emission mobility.”
We look forward to learning more about the SEAT Arona TGI and seeing more footage of its unveiling later in October.
