Developed with a global perspective in mind and manufactured in Wolfsburg, the Tayron enhances Volkswagen’s SUV line-up with a truly sophisticated design. Its signature look begins with a distinct front fascia, featuring standard light strips on the radiator grille, illuminated door handles, and the luminous Volkswagen logos at both the front and rear, leaving a lasting impression on every onlooker. Tailored for those with a taste for sporty elegance, the Tayron comes with a range of four 20-inch alloy wheel designs that complement its streamlined bodywork.

Further enhancing its premium appeal, the Tayron includes IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights with Dynamic Light Assist as an optional feature. With over 19,000 individually controlled LEDs in each headlight, these advanced lights not only project clear markings onto the road but also adapt seamlessly to changing traffic, automatically dimming to prevent glare. And with its coming/leaving home light animations, the Tayron warmly welcomes you each time you start and end your drive.​​

Available in configurations for five or seven passengers, the Tayron can easily adapt to the needs of families or groups. With up to 885 litres of cargo space as a five-seater, and 850 litres as a seven-seater, there’s ample room for luggage, groceries, or recreational gear. The second row can be adjusted to prioritize either legroom or storage, while foldable seats create a nearly flat cargo area for maximum versatility.

The interior of the Tayron is rich in high-end details, from the multifunction steering wheel with durable hard keys to customizable ambient lighting with 30 colour options. Luxury touches include the optional ergoActive partial leather seats that offer heating and ventilation, as well as an ergonomic massage function with 10 pressure points, providing relaxation on every drive. For an open-air experience, the optional panoramic sunroof brings in natural light, letting passengers take in the sky above. With premium upholstery options like wooden inlays in the Elegance trim or ArtVelours inserts in the R-Line trim, every corner of the Tayron’s interior embodies refinement.​

As a plug-in hybrid, it combines a TSI petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering the best of both worlds: electric-only driving for shorter journeys with an impressive range of over 100 km and a smooth switch to the petrol engine for longer distances. This dual powertrain allows for a dynamic yet economical driving experience.

Moreover, the Tayron is equipped with an innovative DC quick-charging function, which enables rapid recharging under optimal conditions. And with the customizable Driving Experience Control, drivers can adjust settings to match their preferred driving style, from sporty responsiveness to a more comfortable ride. Fine-tuning driving ambiance further, the “atmospheres” function integrates background lighting, music settings, and displays for a more tailored experience on the road.

The central feature is the expansive 15-inch Discover Pro Max touchscreen, providing a seamless interface for the infotainment system and digital services through VW Connect Plus. In addition to wireless smartphone integration, the Tayron supports streaming through digital DAB+ radio and Bluetooth, letting passengers enjoy their favourite playlists with ease. For those with a penchant for high-quality sound, the optional Harman Kardon system delivers a powerful 700-watt experience with twelve strategically positioned speakers and a subwoofer for bass precision.

Advanced connectivity options include wireless charging for up to two phones, along with USB-C ports that offer 45W capacity for quick laptop charging. The Tayron is also fitted with Digital Cockpit Pro, a digital display that can be customized to show vital driving information, navigation, or even the current track.
