First introduced in 2010, the Nissan LEAF sparked the global electric vehicle revolution. Now, the new LEAF is gearing up to lead the charge once more with a fresh aerodynamic design, cutting-edge technology, and a platform built for the future.

Developed on the CMF-EV platform – the same advanced architecture as the Nissan Ariya – the third-gen LEAF promises a dynamic and efficient driving experience. Its sleek, modern lines are designed to turn heads while maximising aerodynamics for optimal performance and range.

What Are We Most Excited About?

Range and Charging

The new LEAF will be offered with two distinct battery and motor combinations to suit different driving needs.

Thestandard range model comes with a 52 kWh battery and a 130 kW motor, providing a respectable 0-62 mph acceleration in 8.6 seconds. For those who crave more power and range, the Extended Range version features a larger 75 kWh battery and a 160 kW motor, improving the 0-62 mph time to 7.6 seconds. Both models have a top speed of 99 mph.

Expect a WLTP-rated range of up to 270 miles, perfect for daily commutes and city driving from the standard range model whilst the top-tier, extended range model boasts a powerful 375-mile range on a single charge, making long-distance journeys a breeze.

You can charge the battery from 15% to 80% in just 30 minutes using a DC fast charger. The Standard Range model has a peak rapid charge rate of 105 kW, while the Extended Range version can charge at up to 150 kW, allowing you to recover up to 260 miles of range in just half an hour.

The new LEAF boasts a streamlined, teardrop shape, a design choice that not only looks modern but also serves a functional purpose by reducing air resistance. The car features striking 3D rear lamps, adding to its distinctive appearance. Despite its sleek exterior, the LEAF is highly practical, offering a spacious 437-liter boot and generous dimensions (1550 mm height, 4350 mm length, and 1810 mm width) to comfortably accommodate family needs.

Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): The LEAF comes with V2L technology, allowing you to use your car's battery to power external devices, such as a kettle or a grill, making it perfect for camping or outdoor activities.

ProPILOT: Higher trims will feature Nissan's advanced ProPILOT system, which assists with acceleration, braking, and steering on motorways. The e-Pedal Step also allows for smooth, one-pedal driving in urban settings.
